ICCP'25 Updates

ICCP 2025 Conference Update - 05th May 2025

The International Conference on Child Protection 2025 (ICCP 2025), in collaboration with the 3rd International Conference of the Centre for Gender Studies, has received an overwhelming response, with over 400 research abstracts submitted by local and international scholars. The conference is currently in the reviewing stage, with many abstracts already returned to authors for revisions based on reviewer comments, while others are still under review.

A key part of this process was the desk review session held on May 5th, 2025, at the Staff Development Centre Auditorium, University of Kelaniya. The session was conducted by the reviewing panel, including Conference Chair Prof. Anuriddhi S. Edirisinghe, Conference Co-Secretaries Dr. H. R. S. Sulochani and Dr. Amila Jeewandara, along with Prof. Nayana Gunathilake, Dr. Damayanthi Edirisinghe, Ms. Samanthika Priyadarshani, and Mr. Divanka Randula Podduwage.

We look forward to welcoming all participants to ICCP 2025, scheduled to take place from July 25th to 27th at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. Organized by the Centre for Gender Studies in partnership with UNICEF Sri Lanka and the National Child Protection Authority under the JURE project, this prestigious conference will serve as a vital platform for dialogue and knowledge-sharing on child protection and gender studies.
